This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our website and related services (the “Platform”).
1. Scope
This policy applies to buyers, sellers, guests, and visitors who use FrenzyGo to browse local listings, place orders, submit product requests, create a seller storefront, or contact support.
By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here and in our Terms of Service.

a. Information you provide
- Account details: name, username, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form), profile photo, and account preferences.
- Address and location: street address, city, province/state, postal code, and geolocation derived from address lookup so we can match you with nearby sellers and validate service radius.
- Seller information: business or storefront details, service radius, store hours, pickup instructions, Stripe Connect account status, tax-related information you provide, product listings, and seller application details.
- Order and request data: cart contents, checkout selections, pickup or delivery preferences, scheduled arrival windows, order notes, and transaction history.
- Communications: messages sent through the Platform between buyers and sellers, and correspondence with our support team.
- Guest checkout: if you checkout without an account, we collect the email and delivery details you provide for that transaction.
b. Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, searches, clicks, session activity, and interactions with listings or checkout flows.
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and referral URLs.
- Cookies and session storage: we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember cart contents, and maintain session security.
c. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Stripe collects and processes payment card details according to its own privacy policy.
We may receive limited payment metadata such as transaction IDs, payment status, and the last four digits of a card where applicable.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage accounts, including seller onboarding and verification.
- Display nearby sellers, listings, and availability based on location and radius settings.
- Process cart checkouts, product requests, subscriptions (where offered), refunds, and payouts.
- Facilitate pickup, delivery scheduling, and order fulfillment between buyers and sellers.
- Enable in-platform messaging and transactional notifications by email or in-app alerts.
- Calculate applicable taxes, platform fees, and delivery fees shown at checkout.
- Review listings for compliance with our food guidelines and platform rules.
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Improve the Platform, troubleshoot issues, and analyze aggregate usage trends.
- Send service-related messages. Marketing emails are sent only where permitted and, for seller marketing tools, according to your settings and applicable law.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Platform:
- With sellers: when you place an order or request, we share information required to fulfill it, such as your name, contact details, delivery or pickup preferences, order contents, and any notes you include.
- With buyers: sellers’ storefront information, pickup locations or areas, and fulfillment details are visible to buyers as part of a transaction.
- With service providers: including Stripe for payments and payouts, email delivery providers, hosting and infrastructure vendors, and mapping or geocoding services used to validate addresses.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, sellers, or FrenzyGo.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
5. Legal basis and consent
We collect and use personal information with your consent and as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate business interests such as fraud prevention and service improvement.
You may withdraw consent for optional communications at any time, but some information is required to create an account, checkout, or sell on FrenzyGo.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
Transaction records may be kept longer where required for financial reporting or dispute handling.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure payment processing through Stripe.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
