FrenzyGo works because neighbours trust each other. These rules apply to everyone — buyers, sellers, lobby marts, stores and building partners —
and to every way of buying: Shop, Request and Ask Go. They are part of our Terms of Service.
If something is not listed here but is illegal, unsafe or harmful, it is not allowed either.
1. Items you cannot sell, request or ask Go for
- Alcohol (beer, wine, spirits), cannabis and cannabis products, tobacco, vapes and e-cigarettes.
- Drugs and medication: illegal drugs, prescription drugs, and natural health products with health claims. (Sealed, over-the-counter basics may be allowed later; not yet.)
- Weapons: firearms, ammunition, parts, replicas, knives designed as weapons, pepper spray, fireworks and explosives.
- Hazardous materials: flammable, toxic or corrosive products, propane, and anything that cannot be safely carried in a residential building.
- Unsafe food: food made without a required permit, unpasteurized (raw) milk products, home-canned low-acid foods, wild mushrooms, home-processed meat or fish, and anything spoiled, expired or recalled. See the food rules.
- Recalled, counterfeit or stolen goods, and items that infringe someone’s trademark or copyright.
- Unsafe electronics: recalled devices, swollen or damaged lithium batteries, and chargers or devices without recognized Canadian safety certification (for example, CSA, cUL or ULC).
- Baby products that are recalled or no longer meet Health Canada rules (for example, older car seats, cribs or baby walkers).
- Live animals, animal parts from protected species.
- Adult content and services, and any services (services are not yet offered on FrenzyGo).
- Financial products, gift cards and prepaid cards, lottery tickets, and digital currencies.
- Personal data, accounts, or anything that helps someone get around security or the law.
- Items that promote hate, violence or discrimination.
2. How everyone must behave
- Be respectful. No harassment, threats, hate, or discrimination — including in messages, reviews and Ask Go chats.
- Be honest. No fake listings, fake reviews, misleading prices or photos, or impersonation.
- Respect privacy. Use a neighbour’s name, unit number and phone only for the transaction it was shared for. Never share it or use it to market to them without their consent.
- Respect your building. Follow lobby, concierge, elevator and noise rules when picking up or delivering.
- Keep payments on FrenzyGo for sales that started on FrenzyGo.
- Don’t misuse the technology: no scraping, bots, spam, attempts to break security, or attempts to make Ask Go produce harmful, illegal or deceptive content.
3. What happens if rules are broken
We may remove content, cancel transactions (with refunds where appropriate), limit features, or suspend or close accounts. For serious safety risks we act immediately;
otherwise we will usually warn first. We may report illegal activity to the authorities. If you think we made a mistake, reply to our notice or contact
